Wood is recruiting for a Rotational Support / Remote Engineer – Mechanical to join its UAE business unit. This is a full‑time position located in Sharjah, UAE.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day mechanical engineering support for site operations, addressing queries and mitigating risks to ensure safe, reliable and compliant operations.
• Collaborate with site‑based teams to progress identified long‑term engineering solutions, reducing risk and supporting production growth.
• Understand, assess and drive actions to reduce mechanical engineering risks within agreed timeframes.
• Define static mechanical engineering operating envelopes, monitor equipment health, record and investigate excursions outside the envelopes.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for static mechanical engineering and initiate corrective action as required.
