Unit Notes
- Unit: Respiratory
- # treatments per day (RVUs): "Floors - 30-35 RVUs per day, less at higher acuity. ICU - Vents, treatments. NICU - If there are vents, will stay in NICU. Otherwise will round on the floor as well. NICU experience is preferred not required."
- Certs: BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP if working NICU. RRT
- EMR: Cerner
- Charge RT: Lead every shift
- Weekend Requirement: Every Other
- Holidays: Rotate with core staff
- Call: May ask to cover some NICU call if experienced.
- Scrub Color: Black
- Tele: Yes - Also cover 12 leads on nights and 24hrs Sat and Sun.
- Vents: PB 840, Servo 1, LVT 1200, and 3100A high frequency oscillator.
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Interventionalist during the working day and on call after hours.
- IV Team: No
- RT 24/7: Yes
- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
- Shifts: 0630-1900 and 1830-0700
- Floating: Work the floors, ICU, NICU.
