SAP BTP ABAP RAP Developer Responsibilities

RESTful Service Development:

Design and implement enterprise-grade OData services (V2/V4) using the

ABAP RAP framework , facilitating seamless communication between the SAP S/4HANA backend and modern front-end applications.

Business Object (BO) Modeling:

Define and implement robust business objects using

Behavior Definitions (BDEF)

and

Behavior Implementations (BP)

to handle managed or unmanaged transactional logic, including CRUD operations, actions, and determinations.

Advanced Data Modeling:

Architect complex data models using

ABAP Core Data Services (CDS) , incorporating annotations for UI positioning, search capabilities, and analytical features to drive Fiori Elements-based...
