Saw Operator Opportunity
Lodestone Recruitment is currently working with a well-established company based in Sheffield, who is currently seeking an experienced Saw Operator to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operation of Bandsaws.
Understanding and carrying out first user, daily and weekly equipment checks, liaising with the Lead Saw Operator and Supervisors with a regard to a preventative maintenance regime.
Operation of overhead cranes.
Correct use of hand tools such as angle grinders, measuring tools, etching machines and all types of weighing scales.
Working with consultants on statistical process control by completing accurate data reports and implementing 6S principles of minimizing waste in labour, material and downtime within the bay 4 saw zone.
