SCADA Engineer - Renewables & Grid

Black & Veatch is seeking a SCADA engineering professional to assist in the technical design of substation and renewable energy Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.

Black & Veatch (B&V) is engaged in a variety of SCADA engineering and design activities in support of substation modernization and renewable energy integration.  This work entails conceptual and detailed design of SCADA hardware, networking equipment, fiber networks, datalinks, points list, RTU configurations, remote I/O module configurations, Meter configurations, PMU/PDC device configurations, and Human Machine Interface (HMI) screens.   Individual must have the ability to perform quality assurance checking, man hour estimates, specify equipment part numbers for project work, proposal specification writing, standards development, factory acceptance testing, cyber security auditing, and commissioning suppo...
