Opportunity Description
We are looking for a qualified individual who is highly motivated, passionate for science, and committed to laboratory ethics, to be employed for the role of Scientist. The candidate will work with a dynamic team on industry projects aiming to develop novel therapeutic strategies targeting obesity and its associated complications, including cancer and heart failure, and to identify biomarkers associated with stroke and optimize treatment strategies.
The successful candidate will:
Conduct in vitro wet lab experiments (e.g. cell culture, molecular biology and assays, microscopy etc)
Conduct in vivo animal experiments (e.g. diet/treatment regimes, body weight & composition analyses, metabolic phenotyping, blood sampling etc)
Conduct end-point animal experiments (e.g. terminal blood collection, tissue collection and sample preparation, whole tissue/organ imaging, serum measurements etc)
