Cost Engineering Expert – Seats (Complete Seat & Components)
We are looking for aCost Engineering Expert specialized in complete seat systems and seat componentsto lead cost analysis, estimation, and optimization activities across multiple automotive programs.
This role requires a deep understanding ofseat design, manufacturing processes, and cost structures, as well as the ability to manage complex cost models and collaborate within global cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities
Develop and leaddetailed cost modelsfor complete seat systems, including structures, foam, trim, mechanisms, and electronics.
Estimatevariable and tooling costsfor automotive seat components across different program phases.
Performshould-cost analysis, supplier cost breakdowns, and benchmarking activities.
Analyze and validateBill of Materials (BOM)and identify key cost drivers.
Evaluatemanufacturing processessuch as stamping, welding, foam molding, cutting & sewing, assembly, and fini...
