Second Mate (Part-Time) - El-Fujairah, UAE
We are looking for an experienced Egyptian Second Mate to join our team in El‑Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be part of a maritime crew responsible for the navigation and safety of the vessel. This is a part‑time position with visa sponsorship and accommodation provided.
Responsibilities
- Navigate vessel according to established regulations and procedures
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust course accordingly
- Supervise the safe loading/unloading of cargo
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on board the vessel as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and other regulations at all times
- Manage crew members and delegate tasks accordingly
- Remain alert at all times for any potential hazards or signs of distress from other ships or persons in the water
