Opportunity Description
As a result of PMIs for additional works and ramp‑up instructions for works in Euston, we have vacancies for Section Engineers within the Earthworks & Structures Delivery Unit.
As Section Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and driving the engineering aspects of a section of works, ensuring delivery in line with programme, budget, and safety standards. The role involves coordination across site disciplines and leadership of the Site Engineering team.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead 6‑week lookahead planning and readiness reviews
- Approve TIDPs, draft TWDBs, ITPs, and quality packs
- Coordinate site works and ensure planning handover to teams
- Review designs, raise FCDs, RFIs, STQs, and complete redlines
- Conduct inspections, checksheets, and temporary works reviews
- Use Aphex, Zutec, and maintain trackers for productivity and labour
- Interface with Network Rail and support ALO planning
