SEMH Tutor
Starting from GBP25 per hour
Prospero Newcastle CES are partnered with a school in Northumberland, providing tuition to young people who are struggling to access their provision due to Social, Emotional and Mental Health conditions.
We are looking for an experienced, passionate and patient Tutor, who is confident in teaching Maths & English at a Secondary level. Within this role, you must be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons as a means of alternate education.
These students have SEMH conditions, often alongside Neurodiversity. It is essential that you are confident working 1-to-1 and have experience with these conditions. Alongside this, some of these young people often have Emotional Based School Non-Attendance (EBSNA) and as a result, have a poor view of education.
