Semiconductor Equipment Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment/Senior Equipment engineer with hands on experience on Ion Implant tools like Axcelis GSD, Purion and HE, 8250 and AMAT 9500XR, Quantum.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of Implant tool KPIs, driving strategies to maximize tool availability by increasing MTBF (mean time between failure)
• Monitor and analyze SPC/FDC trends and defect data to mitigate process excursions and optimize tool-level yield performance.
• Spearhead continuous improvement projects (CIP) focused on enhancing tool performance.
• Lead PM/CM content reviews and optimizations to improve equipment reliability and extend tool uptime.
• Manage spare parts logistics to ensure zero downtime due to stockouts, while identifying second-source opportunities to drive down costs.
• Provide high-level technical support for critical Tool Down recoveries and urgent troubleshooting.
