SEND Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist SEND school in Leicester, supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils with SEND and helping them to thrive in a nurturing and structured environment.

The Role:

Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and small group basis

Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities

Supporting pupils with communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation

Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Supporting with personal care where required

Following EHCPs, behaviour plans, and safeguarding procedures

The Ideal Candidate:

Passion for working in a SEND setting   

Previous experience working with children with SEND (preferred)
