Primary SEND Tutor – 1:1 Tuition
Location: Lewisham
Start Date: September 2026
Pay: £25–£30 per hour
TeacherActive is looking for an experienced Primary SEND Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition based in Lewisham, starting from September.
The successful tutor must have strong experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and be confident delivering engaging, tailored lessons in both Maths and English at primary level.
The role will involve:
Delivering 1:1 tuition sessions in Maths and English
Supporting a primary-aged pupil with SEND
Planning and adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs
Building confidence, engagement, and progress
Working closely with families, schools, and support staff where required
The ideal tutor will have:
Experience working with children with SEND
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
Ability to teach both Maths and English
