We are representing our client, a reputable company in the agriculture industry, in the search for a Senior Agriculture Engineer (Pineapple Plantation) to join their team.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and manage pineapple production cycles (land prep, planting, nutrition, weed/pest control, forcing, harvest scheduling)
- Design/operate irrigation & fertigation systems
- Develop and execute SOPs for field operations: ridging/bedding, mulching, spacing, sucker/slip selection, nursery management, replanting
- Implement integrated pest and disease management, and corrective actions
- Lead soil and tissue testing programs; translate results into fertilizer and lime/gypsum plans; manage salinity and pH risks
- Drive mechanization and equipment management (tractors, sprayers), including maintenance schedules and operator training
