Senior Application Engineer – Semiconductor Equipment

Job Responsibilities

• Install, set up, and commission AWLT machines at customer sites
• Analyse customer requirements (accuracy, throughput, repeatability) and optimize system parameters
• Perform wafer alignment, laser scanning, and probing process tuning and troubleshooting
• Validate and improve machine performance (e.g., ~100 nm repeatability, vibration stability)
• Troubleshoot process issues such as alignment errors, stray light, vibration, and wafer flatness
• Provide customer training on operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting
• Prepare application reports, test results, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, design, service) to implement improvements
• Provide on-site and remote technical support
• Support new application development and process qualification
