Senior Bookkeeper

Overview

An engineering market leader is seeking a detail-focused, deadline-driven experienced Senior Bookkeeper who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and managing the full bookkeeping function for several smaller entities, while also supporting the Accounts Payable (AP) team for a larger entity. This is a hands-on role for 3 months, suited to someone who enjoys being close to the detail, takes ownership of accurate financial records, and works well within a collaborative, close-knit finance team.

Responsibilities

• Full end-to-end bookkeeping to trial balance for multiple smaller entities using SAGE
• Support the Accounts Payable (AP) function for a larger entity using Xero
• Manage local creditors, supplier reconciliations, and ad hoc payments
• Maintain and reconcile petty cash and company credit cards
• Perform general bookkeeping, administration, and accurate record-keeping
