Opportunity Description
We are looking for a Senior Highways Engineer to join our Highways team in Birmingham / Rushden.
Location and Hours
- Birmingham / Rushden - remote working available, occasional travel to the office.
- 37.5 hours per week; some flexibility offered.
- Not eligible for sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Undertake feasibility, preliminary and detailed design of highway maintenance and improvement schemes using AutoCAD.
- Prepare contract drawings.
- Support and review the work of other team members, fostering their development.
- Collaborate with other design disciplines in Common Data Environments to deliver integrated solutions.
- Prepare fee estimates, design programmes, tender and contract documents.
- Build relationships with clients and stakeholders, attend meetings as required.
