Job Purpose
- Valuation and Strategic Assets (VASA) advises the Council on property assets to maximize value through letting, disposal, or acquisition. The team ensures optimal use of assets to deliver financial, social, and strategic outcomes and leads the development of the Council’s Strategic Asset Management Framework (SAMF).
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- Contribute to and support the delivery of the Strategic Asset Management Framework (SAMF).
- Identify and evaluate property opportunities, including acquisitions, disposals, and redevelopment.
- Support the development of the capital pipeline aligned with corporate priorities (housing, education, infrastructure).
