Our client is a leading Tier 1 contractor, delivering high-profile construction projects across Ireland.
An opportunity has arisen for an Estimator to join the team in Cork.
The position will report directly to the Estimating Manager.
Responsibilities: * Receive all tender documents and ensure the wider tender team is informed. * Issue sub-contract and material enquiries, including scope of works and attendance schedules (where applicable). * Chase tender returns and update the enquiry schedule.
* Raise tender queries in conjunction with the wider tender team. * Develop and fill gaps in tender documents, compile clarifications, and estimator notes. * Assess risks and opportunities, developing a risk schedule and an opportunity assessment.
* Develop a value engineering schedule. * Analyse tenders and prices received from the supply chain. * Produce documents for tender settlement and present clear net costings, identifying risks and ...
