Opportunity Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to support a high-volume, fast-paced environment on a 3-month contract. This role will focus on IFRS financial reporting, operational accounting oversight, and reviewing the work of junior team members. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee full-cycle accounting and ensure accuracy of financial records in a high-volume transactional environment
  • Prepare and review IFRS-compliant financial statements and disclosures
  • Lead month-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Review and approve work completed by junior accountants, providing guidance and mentorship
  • Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Ensure proper accounting treatment for complex transactions in accordance with IFRS
