Senior Indirect Tax Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Review invoices and payments for sales tax compliance
• Prepare and file sales tax returns for Canada (GST/HST, PST, QST) and the US
• Assist members of the business with sales tax compliance questions
• Assist with sales tax audits
• Conduct technical sales tax research
• Keep current with sales tax legislative and administrative changes and communicate any impact to the organization, for Canada and the US
• Ensure internal processes surrounding tax compliance are adhered to
• Assist with the month‑end close and year‑end audit processes

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant sales tax experience
• Completion of the CPA In‑Depth GST/HST course is an asset
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a high attention to detail
