Senior Lead Architect

OVERVIEW

Merrick & Company is seeking an experienced Lead Architect with strong leadership skills, able to lead an architectural team and to provide mentorship to junior and intermediate level intern architects. Knowledge of containment laboratory design is an advantage.

Salary range for this position is $108,000 - $140,000 CAN. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This is a hybrid position.

• Working knowledge of current building codes and contemporary methods of heavy commercial, institutional and industrial construction, with knowledge of laboratory design guidelines and standards.
• Experience in all aspects of design including planning, programming, schematic design, production of construction documents (drawings and specifications), and construction / contract administration.
