Senior Materials Engineer

Overview

AtkinsRéalis is currently seeking a Materials/Welding Engineer to join our Materials, Welding, and Chemistry – Engineering Excellence team. This position is for a senior‑level engineer who demonstrates strong technical capability and growing leadership in materials, metallurgical, and welding engineering, with a particular emphasis on manufacturing and fabrication support in nuclear and other regulated environments.

Your role

• Lead and perform materials, metallurgical, and welding engineering activities in support of component manufacturing, refurbishment, construction, readiness reviews, shop surveillance, vendor technical evaluations, and resolution of non‑conformances related to materials and field installation.
• Perform materials, metallurgical, and welding‑related work in an engineering environment and prepare technical documents in accordance with AtkinsRéalis/Candu Energy QA programs and applicable code...
