Purpose & Scope of the Role

As a Senior or Principal Engineer within the Development Management Implementation (DMI) team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering highways and transport services under a long-term Professional Services Contract with Hertfordshire County Council. Operating within a collaborative One Service model, you will lead on technical delivery, provide expert advice on development proposals, and support the management of a multidisciplinary team. The role combines leadership, project delivery and technical oversight, ensuring schemes meet required standards while supporting sustainable development across the region.
