The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Professional Indemnity Underwriter to generate and underwrite new business for the Markel team, based in our Madrid office. You will engage with brokers and clients in Spain, Portugal and Italy.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Underwriting and growing the Liability book of business profitably within the dedicated region.
• Establishing, developing, and expanding broker and customer relationships.
• Extending and consolidating our footprint as a recognised insurance partner by assessing, proposing and negotiating insurance conditions for large and midsize projects, with a primary focus on Liability.
• Working closely with our Madrid team regarding clients and brokers.
