Senior Purchase Officer

Responsibilities

• Perform procurement functions for Rubber Goods, Medical Consumables, and Dental Section.
• Collect quotations and initiate vendor discussions.
• Prepares and verifies comparative statements.
• Ensures timely delivery by preparing, issuing, and following up on Purchase Orders.
• Make local purchases as needed.
• Coordinates replacements of expired items and purchase returns.
• Assist in Product Evaluation Meetings.
• Work closely with Inventory, Finance, Internal Audit, and end users to ensure the Purchase Department runs well.

Qualifications and Experience

• MBA in Supply Chain or equivalent, with 5-7 years of relevant experience preferably in healthcare.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficient in MS-Office. Experience in Oracle ERP will be an added advantage.
