Senior Redis Database Administrator l KL

Job purpose:

As a Senior Redis Database Administrator, you will be part of a growing international team based in Kuala Lumpur Center mainly supporting Azure Cache for Redis PaaS subscriptions on Azure cloud. We are looking for candidates with a wide range of expertise in Redis PaaS cloud database support such as day‑to‑day administration, performance tuning, monitoring, backup/restore and NoSQL programming know‑how. You will mentor other database administrators and work in a big database team.

Key activities:

• Database Administration support with main focus on Azure Cache for Redis databases on Azure cloud.
• Database Maintenance, housekeeping, troubleshooting.
• Identify and resolve database performance issues and implementing necessary database changes.
• Incident, problem and change management of database‑related incidents and problems, both in collaboration with other technical teams.
