Senior Rock Engineer Northern Cape

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate rock engineering
• Ensure safe and optimal extraction of ore reserves
• Locate and evaluate an excavation site
• Determine the equipment, personnel and budget needed to safely extract all potential minerals
• Control the incidence of rock bursts and design and implement all support standards

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications & Experience required:

• University Degree in Rock Engineering, Mining, or Geology
• Rock Mechanics Certificate
• Minimum of 8 years experience
