Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self‑motivated Senior SCADA Engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based out of 2 location in Toronto, Canada and Mississauga, Canada.

Accountabilities

• Analyze customer‑supplied system specifications and decompose them into detailed functional, performance, hardware, and software requirements, while extending the requirement set based on applicable standards, codes of practice, and system interfaces.
• Identify gaps between customer requirements and company standard solutions.
• Create requirement documents including high‑level design documents, interface control documents, detailed software requirements and specifications, and requirements traceability documentation in accordance with applicable quality standards.
