The Senior Technical Superintendent is responsible for monitoring and controlling the safe, efficient, and cost-effective technical operations of assigned fleet vessels. The role ensures that all vessels operate in compliance with international maritime regulations, company standards, and environmental policies, while meeting shipowners’ performance expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day technical management of assigned vessels to ensure optimal performance and safety standards
- Ensure vessels comply with all statutory classification, and international maritime regulations
- Monitor maintenance, repair, and dry-docking activities, ensuring timely execution within approved budgets
- Control and optimize technical operating costs while maintaining high standards of operational excellence
- Provide technical guidance and support to vessel crew, particularly on engineering matters
