Vision System Development

• Design and implement machine vision solutions for wafer/die level inspection and metrology
• Develop image processing algorithms (defect detection, pattern recognition, edge detection, etc.)
• Work with cameras, optics, and lighting systems to capture high-quality images

Algorithm & Software Engineering

• Write and optimize code (commonly in C++, Python, or MATLAB)
• Develop and test vision algorithms for speed and accuracy
• Integrate vision modules into larger semiconductor equipment systems

R&D & Innovation

• Research new imaging techniques (e.g., AI-based vision, 3D imaging)
• Prototype and validate new concepts for next‑generation equipment
• Improve resolution, throughput, and detection sensitivity

System Integration

• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and process engineers
