Opportunity Description
Description: The successful candidate will play a key role in design and project management within MPE’s Water Resources team. Experience in project management, project design and construction contract administration in the following areas of practice is desired: Hydropower development, water management, irrigation development, water control structures, dam safety, flood mitigation, drainage, pipelines and river engineering.
Responsibilities
- Staff coordination, supervision, mentoring, and management of junior engineers and technologists
- Preparing planning reports, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Performing general supervision duties
- Working closely with clients to ensure project objectives are met
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an applicable technical degree
- Registered with a Canadian Engineering Association
