Service Technician – Harapaki Wind Farm, New Zealand

We are looking for a Service Technician to support the operation of a wind farm located in Harapaki, New Zealand. Successful candidates must reside within an hour’s drive of the site.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on wind turbine towers, including scheduled and unscheduled tasks.
• Solve and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems such as pitch, speed control, and converters.
• Lead the inventory management of tools and spare parts for installations and repairs.
• Replace worn or faulty components and ensure accurate record‑keeping and reporting.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to SGRE safety standards, with excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Work flexibly on-call and comfortably in small teams under varying wind conditions.
