Setting Out Engineer

Overview

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Setting Out Engineer on a 6 Month Contract, based in Hampshire. This role is offered on a rolling 6-month contract basis under CIS payment terms.

Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out duties for civil engineering and utility infrastructure works.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and site information.
• Establish site control points and carry out surveys.
• Ensure works are delivered to the correct line and level tolerances.
• Produce and maintain accurate site records, as-built information, and QA documentation.
• Work closely with Site Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor and report progress, technical issues, and site constraints.
• Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety requirements and SSE standards.
• Conduct site checks and quality inspections.
