Opportunity Description

A large and well established manufacturing company located in Colchester, Essex are currently recruiting for a Sheet Metal Worker on a temporary - permanent basis.

This role is paying between £ - £ per hour, depending on experience.

Working hours:
There are 3 shifts you could work on, as per below:-

  • 7.15am to 3.45pm Monday to Friday
  • 6am to 2pm (8% shift uplift)
  • 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday (16% shift uplift)

    • Duties in the role:

  • As a Sheet Metal worker, you will be using spinning machines
  • Reading from technical drawings where required
  • Measuring and cutting materials to size using hand & power tools
  • Operating of welding machines for joining sheet metal parts
  • Perform quality checks on the finished products to ensure they meet the required standards
  • Work closely with engineers and fabricators across the site
