Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opening for Shift Manager Operations at United Taconite in Eveleth, MN. As a Shift Manager, you will direct and coordinate safe production at the Mine. Supervise the efforts of experienced operators and technicians to safely and efficiently perform their tasks. Lead mine operations crew and shift maintenance resources to safely meet performance expectations.
Summary of Responsibilities:
+ Utilize the dispatch system to safely deliver a quality ore blend to the plant while fulfilling all environmental compliance metrics and material movement requirements in accordance to the weekly mine plan.
+ Optimize the dispatch current best practices to improve pit productivity
+ Monitor the crude ore buffer at the plant so the concentrator maintains feed and maintenance can be scheduled and performed on a regular basis.
