Shipping Coordinator

Ships completed units and parts to customers, service centers and interplant locations using various carriers in a timely and efficient manner from a third party logistics warehouse (3PL). Works under minimal supervision and participates in small – group activities, process improvement initiatives and project work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verifies part number and/or serial numbers on the carton against Delivery Note. Notify 3PL Warehouse team if there is any discrepancy.Packages/inspect material appropriately for shipment.
• Generate Delivery Note, Commercial Invoice and other shipping related documents. Perform Post Good Issue (PGI) once cargo is collected.
• Understand shipping instruction given for each order request in system before shipment arrangement.
• Coordinates pick up and tracks shipments of various freight carriers.
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of shipping area.
