Shop Operations Coordinator / Fleet Manager

An established mechanical contractor based in Dartmouth Nova Scotia is currently looking to add a Shop Coordinator / Fleet Manager. This position will be responsible for coordinating all warehouse / shop activities daily including issuing and maintaining inventory of tools, test equipment and ensure the delivery of all materials and tools from the warehouse to the jobsites and the vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage, Track, Purchase/Rent Tools utilizing various software systems and labelling.
• Organize tool delivery
• Check returned tools for safety and paperwork
• Rent Lifts as required (coordinate with HQ Procurement Department)
• Use of Hilti App to track tools/equipment
• Order consumable materials for shop and job sites
• Order/Supply safety equipment and track at job sites
