Site Engineer (Structures)

An opportunity for a freelance Site Engineer to work on a major, high-profile project in Somerset.

With over 12 months of work, this role is a good opportunity for a long-term freelance position.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working with reinforced concrete structures and have a strong understanding of quality assurance on civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Have multiple years' experience working on civil engineering schemes
• Assist with as-built surveys and ensure works are delivered to specification.
• Carry out QA checks and conduct material testing.
• Support site management and Section Engineers with day-to-day delivery on site.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS and experience in heavy civils.
• A good understanding of quality assurance and temporary works.
• Excellent communication skills.
• HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering....
