Social Worker - Standard Adults (Grade )

• Carrying out Assessments

• Obtaining multi-disciplinary assessment of need

• Duty work

• Care management

• Designing intensive care packages

• Carrying a caseload of service users

• Make recommendations for short-term care, intermittent care and permanent residential care where appropriate

• Self-directed support/personal budgets

• Court of Protection application including Finance and Welfare

• Safeguarding enquiries

• In depth understanding of current legislation and guidance pertaining to Adult Social Care including the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Mental Health Act 1983/07 and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards

• Report writing skills Essential requirements

• Social work England Registration

• 1-2 years post qualifying experience

• Enhanced DBS

• Eligibility to work in the UK
