The Role

We are looking for a forward‑thinking ISEB/ISTQB certified Test Engineer who is pragmatic, self‑starting and believes testing is a pivotal role in the development of systems.

This role of Test Engineer will sit within a Scrum Team to focus on enhancements to the existing CREST Legacy applications and, in future, develop to focus on the CREST Modernised services and applications.

Main Responsibilities

• Understand and contribute to the Test Strategy and the Test Approach, challenging where required
• Understand Functional and Technical documentation (Requirements / Design) to create Test Scenarios/Test Cases (Manual and Automated)
• Peer‑review Test Scenarios/Test Cases and execute them (Manual and Automated)
• Manage defect lifecycle, carrying out required analysis and defect triage as needed
