Solution Architect – Planning Systems (Demand, Supply & Finite Scheduling)

We are looking for a Solution Architect - Planning Systems (Demand, Supply & Finite Scheduling) for a contract-to-hire role.
Description: This role leads the overall technology design for supply chain planning systems. The architect ensures that demand planning, supply planning, and scheduling tools work smoothly with SAP and other legacy systems across multiple business units.
Duties:

+ Create the strategy for how Abbott’s planning systems should look in the future (tools, integrations, data, templates).

+ Assess current systems and recommend improvements or new platforms (e.g., Kinaxis, OMP, SAP IBP).

+ Design the end‑to‑end architecture for planning tools and how they connect to SAP and other systems.

+ Set standards and governance so all divisions follow consistent architecture and security practices.

+ Lead design reviews and approve major technical decisions.
