Qualifications and Experience Required
- Strong knowledge of wines from around the world, including regional varietals and vintages
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a luxury environment
- Qualification in wine tasting or sommelier training is highly advantageous
Job Description and Duties
- Manage the wine list selection process
- Provide advice to guests on food and wine pairing options
- Recommend wines to guests and place orders with suppliers
- Maintain storage temperature and cleanliness of the cellar according to health and safety standards
- Deliver excellent customer service and work independently or as part of a team
