Opportunity Description
Location: Remote, based in Kenya or South Africa
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic and tactical sourcing initiatives across multiple spend categories in alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct market research and track industry trends to identify cost-saving and value-driving opportunities.
- Perform project-level spend analyses to inform sourcing strategies, highlight inefficiencies, and support data enrichment.
- Manage end-to-end RFx processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP), including documentation, supplier engagement, bid evaluations, and recommendation reports.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures, and SLAs to optimize supplier performance and mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Assess and quantify savings, baseline values, and total cost of ownership (TCO) impacts across sourcing activities.
