Sous Chef - Urgently Needed

An established, award-winning fine dining group in Cape Town is looking for a talented and driven Sous Chef to join their kitchen team. This is a real opportunity to step into a senior kitchen role within a group that has earned its reputation and is still growing. You will work closely with the Head Chef to uphold the high standards the restaurant is known for, while contributing your own skill and creativity to a kitchen that takes its food seriously.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Leading sections during service and maintaining plating and quality standards
• Assisting with menu development, recipe testing, and seasonal updates
• Training, mentoring, and motivating junior kitchen staff
• Managing prep schedules and ensuring the kitchen is service-ready at all times
• Deputising for the Head Chef when required
