Specialist Consultant - Ophthalmology

Our client is advertising an opportunity for an Ophthalmologist to permanently join their team at a public hospital in the South Island of New Zealand.

The ideal start date for this position is from 11 January - 14 June 2026.

Position Details:

• Full time | 40 hours per week
• Overnight on call
• Weekend clinics
• The ideal candidate will have expertise in Paediatric Strabismus, with preference for those also experienced in Adult Complex Strabismus Surgery and iStent Glaucoma procedures.
• Competency in Cataract Surgery is required
