The incumbent will be required to work in liaison with the onsite Specialist Paediatricians to provide outpatient clinics and will be required to be on call. Paediatricians are supported by a Trainee Medical Officer (PGY2) and/or Paediatrics Advanced Trainee. The after-hours Paediatrician on call will be supported by the Emergency Department medical staff. The incumbent will also be responsible for the supervision of the Trainee Medical Officer. . Preference may also be given to Medical Officers who have worked in SA Health and have experience using the Sunrise Electronic Medical Record system.
