Scope of Work
Provides therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction. Provides patient/caregiver education and arranges for adaptive equipment as needed.
STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s Degree, Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), ASHA.Experience in adult/children neurological speech and language disorders, evaluation and treatment, including aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, dysphagia, laryngectomy, stuttering, and voice disorders.Experience with head and neck cancer, tracheostomies, cognition, TBI, dementia, and modified barium swallow studies.Certificate of Clinical Competence, America Speech-Language-Hearing Association, (required) orClinical Fellowship Year (CFY), American Speech-Language-Hearing AssociationLicensure in Speech Pathology-Michigan (required) or temporary license during the CFY (required)State of Michigan Driver’s License – ...
