Job Summary
The Speech Pathologist I has responsibility to evaluate, establish a plan of care, treat, and diagnose patients referred to PM&R.

Job Specific Responsibilities
Daily assignments may include but are not limited to:
•Demonstrate proficiency in the performance of evaluation and treatment techniques/skills and therapy procedures appropriate to the age of the patient and within medical limits of the patient while taking into consideration any special precautions/contraindications the patient may have.
• Completes proper documentation and billing necessary for Speech Therapy.
• Participate in clinical education by functioning as a CI for SLP students.
• May be assigned to other specialty areas in PM&R department and expectation is that therapist will be competent in all assigned areas.
