SPMT Mechanic

Olive Recruiting is seeking an experienced SPMT / Heavy Transport Equipment Mechanic for a growing heavy haul and specialized transportation company in the Gulf Coast region of the United States. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining specialized heavy transport equipment including SPMTs and multi-axle trailers. Responsibilities encompass mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting, as well as supporting operational readiness of critical transport equipment.



Location: New Iberia, LA with relocation assistance provided

Position Type: Full-time, direct hire with client

Schedule: Primarily shop-based, Monday–Friday, typical hours between 6AM – 4PM or 7AM – 5PM with flexibility based on workload and occasional field assignments
